Per tape, any length, one flat price
Covers VHS, VHS-C, Hi8, Video8, Digital8, MiniDV, and camcorder tapes. Each tape becomes one MP4 file on your USB drive.
Damaged or moldy tapes may need extra care. Any tape that needs special handling gets flagged and quoted before work, never after.
Per scan, your choice of resolution
Standard (300 dpi) is right for most collections. High-res (600 dpi) is for reprinting and enlarging. Every order includes an index sheet of thumbnails.
Odd sizes, album pages, and fragile prints are welcome. A few in a batch won't change your price.

Pricing questions
Do longer tapes cost more?
No. Tapes are a flat rate per tape no matter the length. A three-hour tape is the same price as a thirty-minute one.
Is there a minimum order?
There's a small minimum so the setup time is worth it. Ask for the current minimum for your mix.
How long does it take?
Most orders are done within a couple of weeks; larger collections take longer. A timeframe comes with your quote, before any work starts.
Do I get my originals back?
Always. Your original tapes and photos come back to you with the finished files.
How do I pay?
Card payments are handled securely through Stripe, or you can pay by cash or check. Payment is due when your finished files are ready. Nothing upfront for standard orders.
